Position Overview:
As the Senior Manager of Consumer Healthcare Market Insights, you will play a pivotal role in our vibrant team, generating insights that propel our Consumer Healthcare (CHC) division forward. As a leading CHC organization in Europe and the seventh globally, your insights will be crucial in understanding market dynamics, consumer preferences, competitive actions, and our performance metrics, ultimately guiding strategic decisions for enhanced business outcomes.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop, compile, analyze, and disseminate insights on designated CHC categories to pinpoint growth prospects and evaluate our market positioning.
- Conduct in-depth analytics on critical CHC brand subjects within assigned categories.
- Create impactful and insightful dashboards utilizing both internal and external data sources.
- Review and critically assess CHC brand objectives to formulate, manage, and implement market research strategies.
- Oversee all primary market research initiatives within assigned CHC categories, including defining project goals, vendor selection, project management, and timely delivery within budget.
- Facilitate continuous process enhancements, fostering cross-functional collaboration and sharing best practices.
- Collaborate closely with the Global CHC Brand team, CHC Portfolio Management, country marketing teams, and the Global Business Intelligence network.
Candidate Profile:
- A degree in business, marketing, management, or a research-related field.
- 5 to 8 years of experience in Market Intelligence, Market Research, or Business Intelligence, preferably within a market research agency or a Consumer Healthcare organization.
- Expertise in designing, executing, and evaluating primary and secondary research in consumer healthcare to derive data-driven insights using various research and analytical methodologies.
- Proven track record in managing extensive multi-country consumer/healthcare professional primary market research projects and effectively communicating actionable insights across teams.
- Significant experience with data sources (IMS, Mintel, IRI) and analytics tools (Excel, Alteryx) as well as visualization platforms (Tableau, Power BI).
- Strong analytical and presentation skills, with the ability to convey information to cross-functional teams.
- Understanding of the media/digital landscape and its implications for consumer insights.
- Able to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
- Skilled in building robust relationships within the organization and across teams/markets.
- Excellent proficiency in English, both written and verbal, with strong presentation capabilities.
