Position Overview:
As the Senior Manager of Market Insights, you will play a pivotal role in our dynamic team, generating insights that propel our Consumer Healthcare (CHC) Business. You will work within Europe's fastest-growing CHC company, ranked 7th globally, to gain a comprehensive understanding of market dynamics, consumer preferences, competitive actions, and company performance. Your insights will support strategic and tactical decisions that enhance business outcomes.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop, compile, analyze, and disseminate insights on designated CHC categories to identify growth opportunities and evaluate our market positioning.
- Conduct in-depth analytics on critical CHC brand topics within assigned categories.
- Create impactful and insightful dashboards utilizing both internal and external data sources.
- Review and challenge CHC brand business objectives to formulate, manage, and execute market research strategies.
- Lead primary market research initiatives in assigned CHC categories, including defining project objectives, vendor selection, project management, and timely delivery within budget.
- Contribute to the optimization of processes, fostering cross-functional collaboration and sharing best practices.
- Collaborate closely with the Global CHC Brand team, CHC Portfolio Management team, country marketing teams, and the Global Business Intelligence network.
Candidate Profile:
- A degree in business, marketing, management, or a research-related field.
- 5 to 8 years of experience in Market Intelligence, Market Research, or Business Intelligence, preferably within a market research agency or a Consumer Healthcare organization.
- Expertise in designing, conducting, and evaluating primary and secondary research in consumer healthcare to derive fact-based insights using various research and analytical methodologies.
- Proven ability to manage large-scale multi-country consumer/healthcare professional primary market research projects and communicate actionable insights across diverse teams.
- Significant experience with data sources (IMS, Mintel, IRI) and analytics tools (Excel, Alteryx) as well as visualization platforms (Tableau, Power BI).
- Strong analytical and presentation skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with cross-functional teams.
- Understanding of the media/digital landscape and its implications for consumer insights.
- Adept at multitasking and thriving in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
- Proficient in building strong relationships within the organization and across teams/markets.
- Excellent English communication skills, both written and verbal.
