Strategic Development Manager

We are seeking a qualified candidate for the position of Manager Business Development (f/m/d).
As a key member of our team at Munich Airport International, you will play a pivotal role in driving our business initiatives.
Munich Airport International (MAI) is a prominent entity within the Munich Airport Group, providing consultancy services to the aviation sector and overseeing airport operations globally. Key Responsibilities
- Market Strategy Development: Formulate and execute strategies for market entry, positioning, and partnership growth.
- Client Engagement: Proactively identify and approach potential clients, analyze market trends, and uncover new business avenues.
- Client Relationship Management: Strengthen and expand existing client partnerships, creating opportunities for cross-selling and upselling.
- Proposal and Negotiation: Develop customized proposals and lead negotiations, ensuring compliance with all necessary requirements.
- Corporate Strategy Participation: Contribute to the formulation and execution of corporate strategies to support MAI's growth objectives.
- Project Support: Collaborate with project managers to ensure high standards in project delivery and account management.
Qualifications
- Educational Background: A degree in business, aviation management, or a related field, with a minimum of 7 years of relevant experience.
- Strategic Expertise: Proven track record in developing and implementing international business strategies.
- Project Management Experience: Background in managing consulting and operational projects within the aviation sector.
- Leadership Skills: Experience in navigating complex organizational structures and engaging with diverse stakeholders.
- Conflict Resolution: Strong skills in managing conflicts effectively.
- Communication Proficiency: Exceptional communication, presentation, and negotiation abilities in multicultural settings. Proficiency in English and German is essential.
- Adaptability: Ability to thrive under pressure and adapt to changing circumstances, with a willingness to travel.
- Technical Proficiency: Strong skills in MS Office and CRM tools, with excellent command of the English language (additional languages are a plus).
