Technical Sales Engineer in Process Engineering

Position Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated Sales Engineer to enhance our Process Plants division and expand our clientele across Europe. This role is primarily remote, with a preference for candidates based in Germany, although applicants from other European locations are welcome.
Key Responsibilities:
- Sales Management: You will oversee the sales of chemical process plants and systems throughout Europe, engaging in both technical and commercial discussions.
- Product Presentation: You will showcase our innovative products and services, emphasizing sustainability in applications such as chemical recycling, wastewater management, and the purification of chemicals and fuels from sustainable sources.
- Client Engagement: Cultivating robust relationships with current and prospective clients, while gaining insights into market challenges.
- Technical Advisory: Collaborating closely with clients to comprehend their needs and develop tailored process solutions utilizing our advanced mass transfer technologies, including distillation, extraction, evaporation, and pervaporation.
- Collaborative Efforts: Working in tandem with our application specialists in Switzerland to craft proposals and provide customer support.
- Market Intelligence: Keeping abreast of industry trends, competitive landscape, and emerging technologies. Your market insights will be instrumental in devising effective strategies for market growth and penetration.
Qualifications:
- A Bachelor's degree in chemical process engineering or a related discipline.
- At least 5 years of experience in technical sales for complex solutions, ideally within the chemical sector.
- Familiarity with the chemical, petrochemical, pharmaceutical, or (bio)refinery industries is a plus.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to convey technical concepts effectively.
- Proficiency in English is essential; knowledge of German and other languages is advantageous.
