Overview

At OSB AG, we are seeking a dedicated professional to enhance our cloud and on-premises networking capabilities.

Your Responsibilities

  • Take charge of the implementation and management of our comprehensive Cloud and on-premises network.
  • Design, implement, and sustain network infrastructure for a hybrid, multi-cloud environment.
  • Lead projects to ensure our network infrastructure is robust, well-maintained, and adheres to industry best practices, facilitating the transition to cloud services.
  • Exhibit proficiency with Microsoft Azure (or AWS) and comparable cloud services, along with experience in designing, configuring, provisioning, and deploying solutions specifically at the network layer.
  • Demonstrate a thorough understanding of networking technologies and vendors, including Palo Alto, Aruba, LAN, WAN, WLAN, VPN, Firewalls, SDWAN, Load Balancers, Routing, and Switching.
  • Develop network services leveraging infrastructure as code to automate the deployment of cloud network components.
  • Conduct feasibility studies, IT concepts, market research, and vendor assessments.
  • Collaborate with Cybersecurity teams to ensure compliance with infrastructure or application security standards.
  • Maintain the availability of both company and cloud networks through proactive monitoring and alerting.
  • Assume operational responsibility for our connectivity network infrastructure.
  • Create comprehensive operational documentation for the network infrastructure.

Your Profile

  • Bachelor's degree in technology or computer science, or equivalent professional experience.
  • Extensive experience in network infrastructure design, implementation, and administration.
  • Familiarity with network operating systems such as Aruba OS-CX and/or Cisco IOS.
  • Strong background with Palo Alto Suite and Aviatrix.
  • Knowledge of internet routing protocols and concepts: TCP/IP, BGP, MPLS, IS-IS, OSPF, IPSec, VPNs, DNS, SSL, and other network services.
  • Experience with OT architectures and Software-Defined WAN (SDWAN) deployment.
  • Proficiency in using Jira and Confluence is preferred.
  • Demonstrated experience with public cloud providers (e.g., Azure and AWS).
  • Strong automation skills with hands-on scripting/programming experience.
  • Deep understanding of TCP/IP, Subnetting, DHCP, and NAT.
  • Solid experience with the ITIL framework and ITSM.
  • Fluent in English with good proficiency in German.
