Project Overview:

K-tronik GmbH is seeking a skilled Cloud Network Engineer (f/m/x) to enhance our operations within the aviation industry. This is a permanent role aimed at fortifying our cloud network capabilities.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage, implement, and sustain the network framework for hybrid multi-cloud settings.
  • Ensure the network infrastructure meets industry standards as we transition to cloud-based services.
  • Demonstrate expertise in Microsoft Azure or AWS alongside cloud networking solutions.
  • Possess a comprehensive understanding of network technologies and providers including Palo Alto, Aruba, LAN, WAN, WLAN, VPN, Firewalls, SDWAN, Load Balancer, Routing & Switching.
  • Develop network services utilizing infrastructure as code for automation purposes.
  • Conduct feasibility assessments, market research, and vendor evaluations.
  • Collaborate with cybersecurity teams to uphold compliance with security protocols.
  • Guarantee network uptime through proactive monitoring and alert systems.
  • Maintain operational accountability and documentation for the connectivity network infrastructure.
Required Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in technology or computer science, or equivalent professional experience.
  • A minimum of 3 years in designing, implementing, and managing network infrastructures.
  • Familiarity with Aruba OS-CX and/or Cisco IO.
  • Knowledge of internet routing protocols such as TCP/IP, BGP, MPLS, IS-IS, and/or OSPF, in addition to IPSec, VPNs, DNS, SSL, and other network services.
  • Experience with operational technology architectures and SDWAN deployment.
  • Strong background in automation and scripting/programming skills.
  • Fluency in English is essential.
  • Additional advantages include:
