Key Responsibilities:
- Manage, implement, and sustain network infrastructure tailored for a hybrid, multi-cloud ecosystem.
- Lead projects aimed at ensuring our network infrastructure is robust, well-maintained, and adheres to industry best practices, facilitating the transition to cloud services.
- Exhibit proficiency in Microsoft Azure (or AWS) and comparable cloud platforms, alongside experience in designing, configuring, provisioning, and deploying solutions specifically at the network layer.
- Possess a comprehensive understanding of networking technologies and vendors, including but not limited to Palo Alto, Aruba, LAN, WAN, WLAN, VPN, Firewalls, SDWAN, Load Balancers, Routing & Switching.
- Develop network services leveraging infrastructure as code to automate the deployment of cloud network components.
- Conduct feasibility studies, IT concepts, market research, and vendor assessments.
- Collaborate with Cybersecurity teams to ensure compliance with infrastructure or application security standards.
- Maintain the availability of the company’s network and cloud network through proactive monitoring and alerting.
- Assume operational responsibility for our connectivity network infrastructure.
- Prepare all necessary operational documentation for the network infrastructure.
Candidate Profile:
- Degree in technology or computer science, or equivalent vocational training with relevant professional experience.
- Minimum of 3 years’ experience in network infrastructure design, implementation, and administration.
- Familiarity with network operating systems such as Aruba OS-CX and/or Cisco IOS.
- Extensive experience with the Palo Alto Suite and Aviatrix.
- Knowledge of internet routing protocols and concepts, including TCP/IP, BGP, MPLS, IS-IS, OSPF, IPSec, VPNs, DNS, SSL, and other network services.
- Experience with OT architectures and Software-Defined WAN (SDWAN) deployment is essential.
- Proficiency in using Jira & Confluence is advantageous.
- Demonstrated experience with public cloud providers (e.g., Azure and AWS) is highly valued.
- Strong automation skills with hands-on scripting/programming experience are greatly appreciated.
- Deep understanding of TCP/IP, Subnetting, DHCP, and NAT is beneficial.
- Significant experience with the ITIL framework and ITSM is highly regarded.
- Eagerness to embrace new and unfamiliar IT technologies, with a commitment to continuous learning.
- Strong motivation to contribute to the development and structuring of the organization, processes, and frameworks.
- Fluency in English is essential; additional languages are a plus.
