Job Overview

We are seeking a dedicated professional for the role of Cloud Network Engineer (m/f/d) to work on exciting projects with our esteemed clients.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage, implement, and sustain network infrastructure within a hybrid, multi-cloud framework.
  • Execute projects to ensure our network infrastructure is robust, well-maintained, and adheres to industry best practices, facilitating the transition to cloud services.
  • Exhibit proficiency with Microsoft Azure (or AWS) and comparable cloud services, alongside experience in designing, configuring, provisioning, and deploying solutions specifically at the network layer.
  • Possess a comprehensive understanding of networking technologies and vendors, including Palo Alto, Aruba, LAN, WAN, WLAN, VPN, Firewalls, SDWAN, Load Balancers, Routing & Switching.
  • Develop network services utilizing infrastructure as code to automate the delivery of cloud network components.
  • Conduct feasibility studies, IT concepts, market research, and vendor assessments.
  • Collaborate with Cybersecurity teams to ensure compliance with infrastructure or application security standards.
  • Ensure the reliability of the company’s network and cloud network through proactive monitoring and alerting.
  • Hold operational responsibility for our connectivity network infrastructure.
  • Create and maintain all necessary operational documentation for the network infrastructure.

Candidate Profile:

  • Degree in technology or computer science, or a completed apprenticeship with relevant professional experience.
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in network infrastructure design, implementation, and administration.
  • Familiarity with network operating systems such as Aruba OS-CX and/or Cisco IOS.
  • Extensive experience with the Palo Alto Suite and Aviatrix.
  • Knowledge of internet routing protocols and concepts, including TCP/IP, BGP, MPLS, IS-IS, OSPF, IPSec, VPNs, DNS, SSL, and other network services.
  • Experience with OT architectures and Software-Defined WAN (SDWAN) deployment is essential.
  • Proficiency in using Jira & Confluence is advantageous.
  • Demonstrated experience with public cloud providers (e.g., Azure and AWS) is highly valued.
  • Strong automation skills with hands-on scripting/programming experience are greatly appreciated.
  • Deep understanding of TCP/IP, Subnetting, DHCP, and NAT is beneficial.
  • Experience with the ITIL framework and ITSM is highly regarded.
  • A willingness to embrace new and unfamiliar IT technologies, demonstrating a commitment to continuous learning.
  • A strong motivation to contribute to the development and structuring of the organization, its processes, and systems.
  • Fluency in English is essential; knowledge of additional languages is a plus.
