Project Overview:

K-tronik GmbH is seeking a dedicated Cloud Network Engineer (f/m/x) to enhance our operations within the aviation industry. This permanent role is pivotal in managing and optimizing our network infrastructure for hybrid multi-cloud environments.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage, implement, and maintain the network infrastructure tailored for hybrid multi-cloud settings.
  • Ensure the network infrastructure meets industry standards to facilitate a seamless transition to cloud services.
  • Demonstrate expertise in Microsoft Azure or AWS, focusing on cloud networking solutions.
  • Possess a comprehensive understanding of various network technologies and vendors, including Palo Alto, Aruba, LAN, WAN, WLAN, VPN, Firewalls, SDWAN, Load Balancers, Routing, and Switching.
  • Develop network services utilizing infrastructure as code to promote automation.
  • Conduct feasibility studies, market analyses, and vendor assessments.
  • Collaborate with cybersecurity teams to uphold compliance with security regulations.
  • Proactively monitor network availability and implement alert systems.
  • Maintain operational documentation and responsibility for the connectivity network infrastructure.
Required Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in technology or computer science, or equivalent professional experience.
  • A minimum of 3 years' experience in designing, implementing, and managing network infrastructures.
  • Familiarity with Aruba OS-CX and/or Cisco IO.
  • Understanding of Internet routing protocols, including TCP/IP, BGP, MPLS, IS-IS, and/or OSPF, along with IPSec, VPNs, DNS, SSL, and other network services.
  • Experience with operational technology architectures and SDWAN implementation.
  • Strong background in automation and proficiency in scripting/programming.
  • Fluency in English is essential.
  • Additional assets include:
  • Experience with Jira & Confluence.
  • Familiarity with public cloud providers such as Azure and AWS.
  • Understanding of TCP/IP, subnetting, DHCP, and NAT.
  • Experience with ITIL framework and ITSM.
  • Relevant certifications in Cloud (AWS, Azure, etc.), Palo Alto Suite, Aruba, Aviatrix, Cisco, Security+, and ITIL 4 Foundation.
  • Project management certification.
