At OSB AG, we are seeking a dedicated professional to oversee and enhance our Cloud and on-premises network systems.
Your Responsibilities
- Take charge of the implementation and management of our comprehensive network infrastructure across both cloud and on-premises environments.
- Design, implement, and maintain a robust network infrastructure tailored for a hybrid, multi-cloud setup.
- Lead projects aimed at ensuring our network infrastructure meets industry best practices and supports the transition to cloud services.
- Exhibit proficiency with Microsoft Azure or AWS, alongside experience in designing, configuring, and deploying network-layer solutions.
- Possess a deep understanding of networking technologies and vendors, including Palo Alto, Aruba, LAN, WAN, WLAN, VPN, Firewalls, SDWAN, Load Balancers, Routing, and Switching.
- Develop network services leveraging infrastructure as code to automate the deployment of cloud network components.
- Conduct feasibility studies, market research, and vendor evaluations to inform IT concepts.
- Collaborate with Cybersecurity teams to ensure compliance with infrastructure and application security standards.
- Utilize proactive monitoring and alerting to maintain the availability of both company and cloud networks.
- Assume operational responsibility for our connectivity network infrastructure.
- Create and maintain comprehensive operational documentation for the network infrastructure.
Your Profile
- Hold a Bachelor's degree in technology or computer science, or have completed an apprenticeship with relevant professional experience.
- Bring extensive experience in network infrastructure design, implementation, and administration.
- Possess knowledge of network operating systems such as Aruba OS-CX and/or Cisco IOS.
- Demonstrate strong experience with the Palo Alto Suite and Aviatrix.
- Have a solid understanding of internet routing protocols and concepts, including TCP/IP, BGP, MPLS, IS-IS, OSPF, IPSec, VPNs, DNS, and SSL.
- Be experienced with OT architectures and Software-Defined WAN (SDWAN) deployments.
- Ideally, have experience using Jira and Confluence.
- Show proven experience with public cloud providers like Azure and AWS.
- Exhibit strong automation skills with hands-on scripting or programming experience.
- Have a comprehensive understanding of TCP/IP, Subnetting, DHCP, and NAT.
- Possess significant experience with the ITIL framework and ITSM.
- Fluent in English with very good German language skills.
