Job Summary:

As a Regional Sales Manager at Abbott, you will lead a team of sales representatives in the Abbott Diabetes Care region, driving profitable growth and market share targets. This role is based in the region of Cologne, Dusseldorf, Duisburg, where we are revolutionizing glucose level monitoring with our new sensing technology.

Your Key Responsibilities:
  • Achieve sales and market share targets, driving profitable growth in the assigned region through volume, account, and expense management.
  • Lead a team of 8-12 direct reports, ensuring all activities are performed in compliance with quality system requirements.
  • Drive profitable revenue growth through individual recognition, performance review, people management, and reward.
  • Implement country product launches successfully, leveraging your knowledge of the competitive and diabetes technology landscape.
Your Qualifications:
  • Postgraduate diploma or university degree and 3-5 years of leadership experience in the pharma or medical device industry.
  • Strong knowledge of the competitive and diabetes technology landscape, with proven ability to work with key opinion leaders in the healthcare segment.
  • Fluent in German and good in English language, with experience in leading high-performance teams and measuring and analyzing key performance indicators.
  • Engaging and strong motivational skills, with ability to drive sales growth and market share targets.
