Job Overview

The Enterprise Business Development division is a global collective of dedicated sales and relationship experts focused on expanding strategic alliances in Germany. This role encompasses the acquisition and management of new brands, enhancing existing partnerships, and collaborating with internal teams to enrich our offerings, thereby delivering value to our partners and end customers.

Your Role Involves...

  • Leading Negotiations: You will spearhead negotiations and oversee commercial collaborations with our primary strategic technical partners in Germany, including some of the most significant players in the merchant technology landscape (POS, Middleware, Order Management, ERP, etc.).
  • Strategic Development: You will contribute to formulating the ideal strategy and prioritization for expanding our merchant operations through technology partnerships. This includes crafting quarterly and annual plans that propel our business forward by leveraging new or existing technical partnerships and integration capabilities, while coordinating with internal teams for execution.
  • Collaborative Advocacy: You will champion solutions both internally and externally that facilitate the growth of our merchants' businesses. In addition to engaging with partners in the merchant technology ecosystem, you will collaborate with a highly cross-functional internal team, including sales, account management, operations, product, marketing, analytics, and finance to broaden our product portfolio.
  • Continuous Learning: You will immerse yourself in the merchant technology ecosystem, gaining a profound understanding of our merchants' needs and the most effective strategies to market and succeed.

Qualifications

  • Fluency in English, with a preference for business proficiency in German.
  • Over 5 years of experience in high-performance settings (e.g., technology, operations, strategy, consulting, or related fields).
  • Extensive experience with POS, Middleware, Order Management systems, ERPs, and other technical and integration providers within the merchant/delivery technology ecosystem.
  • Demonstrated success in structuring and expanding technical partnerships by leading negotiation processes and overseeing go-to-market efforts from conception to launch.
  • Ability to devise and implement strategic plans that align with our business objectives.
  • Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills, with the capacity to work across functional teams, influencing and managing multiple internal and external stakeholders.
  • Proficiency in English, with business-level German preferred.
