Strategic Partnerships Specialist

United Nations Development Programme (UNDP) is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Strategic Partnerships Specialist to join our team in Germany.
About the Role:
The Strategic Partnerships Specialist will support the Director in strengthening strategic partnerships in Germany with the purpose of maintaining and, ideally, increasing political and financial support to UNDP. The successful candidate will oversee operational aspects of the office and serve as OIC in the absence of the Director.
Key Responsibilities:
- Operational oversight and support to management of the office
- Partnerships building and resource mobilization
- Expand programming opportunities between Germany and UNDP
- Constituency relations
Requirements:
- Master's degree in international development, public administration, business administration, public policy or other relevant social sciences
- A minimum of seven (7) years with Master's degree or nine (9) years with Bachelor's degree and relevant work experience in development in a governmental, multilateral or civil society organization in a multi-cultural setting
- Proven track record in building partnerships, networking, resource mobilization or with a donor
- Sound knowledge and understanding of UN or UNDP operations is an asset
