Role Overview:

The primary responsibility of the Business Operations Manager is to oversee the Business Support team at Kyowa Kirin DACH, ensuring that administrative and logistical functions are executed with excellence, guaranteeing service delivery, and fostering continuous improvement. This position collaborates closely with the Cluster General Manager to enhance their operational effectiveness.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and cultivate the Business Support team
  • Establish the strategic vision for the department to provide high-quality services efficiently
  • Continuously refine services and processes for optimal efficiency and effectiveness
  • Develop work plans to ensure consistent service availability
  • Oversee IT, learning platforms, fleet management, credit card administration, facility management, office procurement, mail services, reception, catering, travel arrangements, events, and purchasing
  • Work in close partnership with the CGM to support their initiatives
  • Manage relationships with external service providers and procure necessary services
  • Engage with national and international stakeholders effectively

Compliance Standards:

  • Uphold the code of conduct, maintaining high professional standards in accordance with company policies
  • Ensure strict adherence to regulations and industry standards
  • Promptly report any suspected compliance breaches to management or the Compliance Officer

Qualifications:

  • Completed education in Business or a related field
  • Initial leadership experience
  • Strong teamwork and knowledge-sharing capabilities
  • Experience in the relevant areas of responsibility
  • Excellent planning and organizational skills
  • Ability to make independent decisions
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
  • Service-oriented approach
  • Technical acumen for administration and process enhancement
