Part-Time Postdoctoral Researcher in Radio Frequency Systems

We are seeking a dedicated Postdoctoral Scientist to contribute to the field of low-level radio frequency (LLRF) systems. This role is part-time and offers an exciting opportunity to engage in advanced research within a leading scientific institution.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Lead research initiatives focused on the design and operation of state-of-the-art LLRF systems for particle accelerators.
2. Supervise and mentor one postdoctoral researcher and one to two PhD candidates in relevant research areas.
3. Plan and organize LLRF testing activities at various facilities, ensuring efficient scheduling and execution.
4. Present findings at progress review meetings, workshops, and international conferences, contributing to the scientific community.
5. Facilitate the integration of innovative results into existing LLRF systems, including necessary software and firmware upgrades.
Qualifications:
- University degree in Electrical Engineering, Physics, Computer Science, or a related discipline.
- PhD and/or substantial experience in an accelerator research environment.
- Proven expertise in LLRF systems, encompassing design and operational aspects.
- Strong background in control systems and feedback controller design.
- Excellent proficiency in English.
