Senior Scientist in Low-Level Radio Frequency Systems Design and Operation

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Scientist to lead our Low-Level Radio Frequency (LLRF) research and development effort. The successful candidate will be responsible for designing and operating state-of-the-art resonance controls for narrow bandwidth superconducting cavities.
Key Responsibilities:- Lead the LLRF research team in designing and optimizing resonance controls for superconducting cavities
- Supervise postdoctoral researchers and PhD students working on LLRF-related projects
- Collaborate with industrial partners to develop efficient high-power sources
- Plan and organize LLRF tests at cryomodule test facilities and user facilities
- Report on research progress and results at internal and external meetings
- Integrate new research findings into the existing LLRF system
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- University degree in Electrical Engineering, Physics, Computer Science, or a related field
- PhD degree and/or several years of experience in an accelerator research facility
- Expertise in control systems, feedback controller designs, and optimization
- Strong motivation and pragmatism towards problem-solving and teamwork
- Highly proficient English skills
