Part-Time Postdoctoral Researcher in RF Systems

We are seeking a dedicated Postdoctoral Scientist to contribute to our research in low-level radio frequency (RF) systems design and operation.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead innovative research in resonance control for superconducting cavities, focusing on detuning computation and noise cancellation.
- Supervise and mentor one postdoctoral researcher and one to two PhD candidates in relevant research areas.
- Plan and coordinate LLRF testing activities at designated facilities, ensuring efficient scheduling and execution.
- Present findings at progress review meetings, workshops, and international conferences.
- Oversee the integration of new research outcomes into existing LLRF systems, including necessary software and firmware updates.
Qualifications:
- University degree in Electrical Engineering, Physics, Computer Science, or a related discipline.
- PhD and/or extensive experience in an accelerator research environment.
- Proven expertise in low-level RF systems, including design and operational aspects.
- Strong background in control systems and feedback controller optimization.
- Excellent proficiency in English.
