The Position:
Primary Responsibilities for this position:
Oversee and cultivate relationships with institutional clients and prospects across Germany Showcase the comprehensive offerings of our firm as an investment management ally to key client segments, particularly in private asset classes Actively engage in shaping the institutional strategy for our operations in Germany Ensure compliance with team protocols and operational procedures Foster internal collaborations with product and fund management teams, gaining insights into their focus areas and facilitating market introductions in the region Acquire in-depth knowledge of our pertinent funds, strategies, and solutions, and effectively position these to targeted clients Collaborate with colleagues and take ownership of maintaining and enhancing the controls you oversee to support the improvement of the overall control environment, client outcomes, and a reduction in operational risks.Essential Knowledge, Skills & Experience:
Excellent team collaborator and consensus builder who harmonizes high levels of personal drive and motivation with a commitment to teamwork Familiarity with a multi-asset investment landscape: fixed income, equity, real estate debt and equity, infrastructure, private equity, and private debt, with extensive knowledge of private markets being crucial Strong analytical skills; experience in portfolio management and/or investment advisory would be advantageous, though not mandatory. Comprehensive understanding of and experience with local German regulations pertaining to various types of institutional investors and their requirements Demonstrated success in institutional sales: Proven ability to manage client relationships and secure new business opportunities Results-driven and focused on achievements rather than mere activity Exceptional communication skills: native German speaker with proficiency in English Systematic and organized approach to tasks Capability to manage and prioritize multiple tasks and competing deadlines University degree. Qualifications in investment management and/or CFA/CAIA designation will be viewed favorably.Key Accountability Levels:
