Overview:
The Body Electronics pre-development team is engaged in creating innovative control elements that enhance user interaction within vehicles, ensuring a premium experience.
We explore and develop cutting-edge body electronics, sensor technologies, lighting solutions, and feedback systems for mass production. Our work involves technology scouting and conceptual validation of new advancements, alongside conducting measurements to assess haptic characteristics. We are also dedicated to advancing haptic systems, expanding their functionalities and quality, and developing proprietary tools in collaboration with partners from both traditional industries and startups.
Key Responsibilities:
- Understanding the IDM measurement principle
- Enhancing data transfer efficiency between software components
- Improving the user interface of measurement robots for preparation and analysis
- Conducting measurement tasks
- Gaining familiarity with tools for developing haptic effects
- Engaging in haptic design
- Researching, sourcing, and commissioning systems and components
- Collaborating across various subject areas
- Performing mechanical and soldering tasks
Qualifications:
- Pursuing a degree in Mechatronics, Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field, preferably with a design focus
- Proficiency in Matlab and Simulink
- Experience in measurement and sensor technology is advantageous
- Familiarity with command line interfaces, Linux, and networked systems is a plus
- Knowledge of UX prototyping tools (e.g., Sketch, Flinto, Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, Blender; AR/VR: Unity 3D, Blender) may be beneficial
- Competent in MS Office applications
