The Body Electronics pre-development team is engaged in the creation of innovative control elements aimed at enhancing user experience within vehicles. This includes:
- Exploration and development of cutting-edge body electronics, sensor technologies, lighting systems, and feedback mechanisms for mass production.
- Conducting technology scouting and validating new concepts through rigorous measurement of haptic properties.
- Advancing haptic systems, enhancing their functionalities and quality through the development of proprietary tools.
- Collaborating with partners from both established industries and emerging startups.
As a working student, you will tackle various challenges, including:
- Understanding the IDM measurement principle.
- Improving data transfer efficiency between software components.
- Enhancing the graphical user interface (GUI) of measurement robots for better preparation and analysis.
- Executing measurement tasks and familiarizing yourself with tools for haptic effect development.
- Engaging in haptic design and conducting research for system and component procurement.
- Participating in mechanical and soldering tasks.
We are looking for candidates with the following qualifications:
- Pursuing a degree in mechatronics, electrical engineering, mechanical engineering, or a related field, preferably with a focus on design.
- Familiarity with Matlab and Simulink.
- Experience in measurement and sensor technology is desirable.
- Knowledge of command line interfaces, Linux, and networked systems is advantageous.
- Proficiency in UX prototyping tools (e.g., Sketch, Flinto, Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, Blender; AR/VR: Unity 3D, Blender) is a plus.
- Competence in MS Office applications.

- Basic knowledge of electronics is an advantage.
