Key Responsibilities:

  • As a Business Development Representative (m/f/d), you will stimulate interest in all product categories of active medical solutions and in-vitro devices within the Area Sales Team, generating new leads, acquiring new clients, and re-engaging lost customers.
  • You will maintain and interact with existing clients to promote additional services and secure critical business through regular client interactions and visits (Customer Relationship Management).
  • In this capacity, you will assess client needs and provide tailored solutions, presenting these, potentially with the involvement of subject matter experts, while ensuring timely delivery and quality of proposals.
  • Additionally, you will contribute ideas for the development of new and existing service offerings, consult with relevant stakeholders and the Area Sales Manager, and assist in testing newly developed services in collaboration with the business unit and marketing.
  • Finally, you will proficiently utilize sales tools (Sales Force) and document sales activities in the Sales Force system, adhering to internal guidelines.

Candidate Profile:

  • Minimum of 3 years of sales experience in the marketing of complex (technical) services or products.
  • Strong sales knowledge across all product categories of active medical solutions and in-vitro devices or electrical and electronic devices, with a preference for technical understanding.
  • Excellent sales skills from needs assessment to closing, along with solid business acumen.
  • Friendly and approachable demeanor, exceptional communication skills, and a strong customer and service orientation with pronounced acquisition capabilities.
  • Fluent in both German and English, with strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Willingness to travel extensively.
