Strategic Partner Consultant

Position Overview
As a Strategic Partner Consultant at Zalando, you will be an integral member of a dynamic team dedicated to innovating connections between individuals and the fashion industry. Your role will focus on executing the Designer portfolio's strategic initiatives while engaging with a diverse array of designer brands and partner types.
Your Responsibilities
- Utilize your entrepreneurial spirit and effective communication skills to guide medium- to high-impact partners in embracing Zalando's Platform Services and technologies.
- Drive sustainable growth for a selection of designer brands, ensuring alignment with Zalando Group Strategy and compliance standards.
- Identify and onboard relevant partners, crafting tailored business cases and presentations that resonate with their unique needs.
- Employ strong analytical capabilities to derive insights, maximizing ROI through data analysis and nurturing partnerships.
- Collaborate with internal teams to create comprehensive partner roadmaps, translating market strategies into actionable plans that enhance customer satisfaction.
- Engage with Product, Operations, and Tech teams to transform partner feedback into innovative solutions, improving processes and developing new initiatives as necessary.
- Maintain excellence in CRM practices to ensure accurate data and insights for informed decision-making within your partner portfolio.
Key Performance Indicators
Your influence will extend to critical KPIs, including:
- Net merchandise volume
- Profitability
- Service adoption rates (Marketing and Logistics services)
- Customer convenience
- Customer Lifetime Value
- Partner satisfaction
Qualifications
We are looking for candidates with:
- A background in marketplace environments or consultancy/business development, with a strong passion for the fashion and e-commerce sectors, and a minimum of 3 to 5 years of relevant experience.
- Exceptional analytical skills and a sales-oriented mindset, capable of navigating complex requirements and challenges.
- Experience in process improvement and automation; product experience is advantageous.
- Outstanding communication abilities, with a proven track record of managing stakeholder relationships effectively.
- Fluency in English; proficiency in additional languages is a plus.
- A self-starter attitude, taking ownership of projects and driving growth initiatives independently.
- A genuine passion for crafting meaningful success stories and experiences for Zalando partners.
