We are seeking a Human Resources Business Partner to join our expanding team in Germany, providing essential support to our diverse business sectors. The HR Business Partner serves as the primary contact for all personnel-related matters within their designated area, overseeing both strategic and operational HR functions. This role is pivotal in establishing trusted and influential relationships with senior management, offering strategic insights, guidance, and ensuring operational HR excellence. Additionally, this position will play a crucial role in managing the necessary workforce transitions associated with upcoming organizational changes. A key focus will be to act as a strategic partner to the business, delivering value-added services that align with the organization’s objectives.
Key Responsibilities:
The HR Business Partner will collaborate closely with leadership to drive strategic initiatives and achieve desired outcomes within their business unit. You will serve as a vital facilitator and HR expert in the implementation and delivery of HR programs. The ideal candidate will possess a solution-oriented mindset and a strong ability to partner with the business to achieve client-focused results and practical solutions.
- Proven ability to cultivate strong working relationships across all levels of management and staff
- Demonstrated skill in analyzing data to address practical challenges and navigate various situations with limited guidance
- Promote awareness and application of key HR initiatives to foster a positive workplace culture
- Proven capability to lead and support change management initiatives
- Encourage a culture of positive employee relations and engagement to enhance retention
- Ensure regular employee feedback mechanisms are in place and followed up with appropriate action plans
- Support the development and coaching culture throughout the organization
- Ensure the execution of annual HR processes such as performance evaluations, talent assessments, and compensation reviews:
Qualifications and Experience:
The ideal candidate will hold an academic degree and possess a minimum of eight years of progressive experience in human resources, including at least three years in business partnering roles within complex environments. International experience and an understanding of managing HR issues across borders are advantageous.
Additional required skills and competencies include:
- A degree in Human Resources or a related field
- Strong consulting, coaching, and presentation capabilities
- Excellent communication skills
- Solid business acumen with the ability to analyze and interpret HR data
- Proven experience in stakeholder management and the ability to engage with senior leadership
- Comprehensive knowledge of key HR functions, employee relations, change management, and talent development
- Familiarity with leading HR industry practices
- Ability to support and drive organizational change
- Capacity to thrive in a dynamic and challenging environment
- High level of empathy and teamwork, with a proactive attitude
- Basic understanding of German labor law
- Proficiency in both German and English
- Willingness to travel as required by business needs
