Role Overview:
As an IT Domain & Solution Architect focusing on Sustainability, you will play a pivotal role in influencing sustainable practices through technology. You will be an integral part of the IT Domain team for "Sustainability & EHS," promoting collaboration across functions and businesses on sustainability-related architectural topics.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop future architecture and transformation roadmaps, driving implementation in close partnership with the Head of Sustainability Data Strategy & Architecture and relevant stakeholders.
- Maintain transparency regarding the current architecture for the IT Architecture Domain and sustainability solutions.
- Collaborate actively with enterprise architects to align sustainability requirements across various architecture domains.
- Create and standardize IT domain-specific concepts, guidelines, and best practices.
- Support project leads and service/application owners with IT domain and solution architecture for sustainability.
- Define the design, implementation, and operation of IT solutions in line with established standards and architecture guidelines.
- Analyze the technical architecture of sustainability solutions and recommend enhancements.
- Identify and report any deviations from the target architecture design.
- Ensure compliance with standards and regulations during audits by providing transparency on sustainability IT domain architecture.
- Stay informed about trends in sustainability and technology, identifying opportunities for improvement.
- Engage with external communities to gain insights and address common challenges in the industry.
Qualifications:
- Master's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Over 5 years of experience as an IT Domain and/or Solution Architect.
- Deep understanding of IT architecture principles and best practices.
- Strong grasp of solution architectural concepts, with a keen interest in technological advancements.
- Passion for leveraging technology to drive positive change in sustainability.
- Ability to thrive in a dynamic work environment with high visibility from senior management.
- Enjoyment in collaborating with diverse stakeholder groups to create a unified architectural landscape.
Preferred Skills:
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills for effective collaboration.
- Experience with enterprise architecture frameworks and tools (e.g., TOGAF).
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills focused on innovative IT architecture design.
- Knowledge of sustainability principles and how technology can support sustainability objectives.
- Capability to work within cross-functional teams, bridging business needs and technical solutions.
- Understanding of security and compliance considerations in IT architecture.
