Role Overview:
As an IT Domain & Solution Architect focusing on Sustainability, you will play a pivotal role in influencing sustainable practices through technology. You will contribute to the evolution of our IT Sustainability team and collaborate with the IT Domain team on architecture topics related to Sustainability and Environmental Health & Safety (EHS).
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement future architecture and transformation strategies in collaboration with key stakeholders, ensuring the seamless integration of sustainability solutions across various architecture domains.
- Maintain transparency regarding the current architecture within the IT Sustainability domain.
- Engage actively with enterprise architects to align sustainability requirements across different business functions.
- Create and standardize domain-specific concepts, guidelines, and best practices.
- Support project leads and service owners with IT domain and solution architecture related to sustainability.
- Define the design, implementation, and operational processes of IT solutions in line with established standards and strategic objectives.
- Analyze the technical architecture of sustainability solutions and recommend enhancements.
- Identify and document any deviations from the target architecture.
- Ensure compliance with standards and regulations during audits by providing clarity on sustainability IT architecture.
- Stay informed about emerging trends in sustainability and technology to identify enhancement opportunities.
- Engage with external communities to gain insights and share best practices in sustainability.
- Master's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Business Administration, or a related discipline.
- Over 5 years of experience as an IT Domain or Solution Architect.
- Deep understanding of IT architecture principles and methodologies.
- Proficient in solution architectural concepts, particularly in integration and composability.
- Strong commitment to driving change through technology and sustainability.
- A proactive approach to responsibilities and comfort in a dynamic work environment.
- Enjoyment of collaborative efforts among diverse stakeholder groups.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills for effective collaboration.
- Experience with enterprise architecture frameworks (e.g., TOGAF).
- Strong analytical skills with a focus on innovative IT architecture design.
- Knowledge of sustainability principles and their technological applications.
- Able to work within cross-functional teams to align business needs with technical solutions.
- Understanding of security and compliance in IT architecture.
