Sales Manager – Polymer Coatings and Surface Protection Solutions

Sigas GmbH, a prominent player in the industrial protective coatings sector, is on the lookout for a seasoned Sales Manager specializing in the Corrosion Protection Industry. This role is pivotal in steering our sales engineering team towards success.

We specialize in the innovative design and manufacturing of high-performance coatings, linings, and flooring solutions tailored for various applications. Our products are renowned for their exceptional chemical resistance, durability, and weather resistance, positioning us among the leaders in the global market.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee and guide a team of sales engineers and distribution partners.
  • Formulate and execute sales and marketing strategies aimed at enhancing revenue growth.
  • Discover new business prospects and nurture existing client relationships through effective B2B sales management techniques.
  • Craft and present technical proposals, conduct customer visits, negotiate contracts, and finalize agreements, utilizing strong communication and negotiation skills.
  • Collaborate with internal teams and external partners to ensure a seamless sales process and high levels of customer satisfaction.
  • Keep abreast of market trends and competitive landscape within the corrosion protection sector.

Qualifications:

  • Demonstrated success in B2B sales management, preferably within a related industry.
  • Exceptional leadership and team management capabilities.
  • Proficient communication, negotiation, and presentation skills in both English and German.
  • Strong analytical mindset and problem-solving abilities.
  • Capacity to work autonomously as well as collaboratively within a team.
  • Strategic thinker with a knack for identifying new business opportunities.
  • An established international network in the corrosion protection field is a plus.
  • A degree in Polymer Engineering, Material Science, Chemical Engineering, or related disciplines, along with studies or training in Management, Business Administration, Marketing, or similar fields is preferred.
