ROLE OVERVIEW

As a Senior Knowledge Analyst (SKA) within the Operations Practice Area at Boston Consulting Group, you will be an integral part of a dynamic global team, delivering specialized expertise and insights. Your collaboration with case and proposal teams will be crucial in developing knowledge assets, conducting analyses, and providing expert advisory services. You will act as a thought partner and content specialist, assisting in structuring and resolving intricate challenges.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES


• Delivering solutions to client challenges by selecting and implementing analytical methodologies in your field of expertise, particularly in cost optimization, cost analytics, and organizational design related to corporate functions.

• Systematizing knowledge and maintaining resources and tools in partnership with our consultants and analytics teams.

• Engaging with senior stakeholders in a credible and confident manner.

• Collaborating effectively within a team dynamic, often in virtual settings, and demonstrating proficiency in agile methodologies.

• Exhibiting flexibility and a curious, innovative mindset, open to new ideas and capable of proposing creative solutions.

• Navigating through complexity and ambiguity with ease.

QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE


• A minimum of 2 years of consulting experience relevant to corporate functions; preference for candidates with consulting backgrounds.

• Alternatively, a minimum of 3 years of industry experience is required, with 4-6+ years being strongly preferred.

• A Bachelor's Degree is mandatory (advanced degree is a plus).

• Proficiency in English is essential; knowledge of German is advantageous.

• Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills to effectively engage with both internal and external stakeholders in a global collaborative environment.

COLLABORATIVE ENVIRONMENT

In your role as a Senior Knowledge Analyst, you will work alongside global topic leaders and colleagues across BCG, leveraging expertise and capabilities to serve our internal and external clients. Our team comprises a diverse array of knowledge professionals, enabling us to pursue innovative and fulfilling knowledge careers.

ADDITIONAL CONTEXT

The Knowledge Team (KT) consists of functional and industry experts who utilize deep domain knowledge to provide insights for case teams and clients. KT members are aligned with BCG Practice Areas, engaged in strategic initiatives, and contribute to the development and deployment of cutting-edge intellectual property and data tools/assets to deliver valuable insights.

Members of the Knowledge Team are involved in case staffing and collaborate with case teams and clients to co-create insights through expert perspectives on industry trends, proprietary data delivery, and complex market research and analysis. They also support business development and proposals while organizing and codifying knowledge that enables BCG to deliver exceptional business value to its clients.
