Supply Chain Optimization Analyst

Transforming B2B commerce through effective supply chain management.
A Supply Planning Analyst plays a crucial role in ensuring the seamless operation of a company's supply chain. This position involves strategizing and overseeing the flow of products to satisfy customer needs, enhancing inventory management, and reducing operational costs. The Analyst works in collaboration with various teams, including Supply Planners, warehouse operations, and Commercial and Finance departments, to synchronize supply strategies with corporate goals.Key Responsibilities:
Create and sustain stock forecasts that correspond with demand projections. Oversee warehouse inbound capacity planning for both short and long-term horizons, analyzing potential risks and opportunities. Monitor and refine inventory levels to align with customer demand while minimizing holding costs (including projections for stockouts or excess inventory). Analyze data and assess performance indicators to pinpoint areas for enhancement and execute improvement strategies. Support operational efficiency through warehouse capacity planning by tracking incoming shipments and evaluating risks associated with future deliveries, ensuring optimal routing and adjustments in container arrivals. Coordinate and supervise orders from Asia to Europe, assessing how changes in estimated arrival times will impact stock availability and warehouse capacity. Produce reports and deliver insights to relevant stakeholders for informed decision-making. Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to align supply chain initiatives with business objectives, streamlining processes and enhancing overall supply chain performance. Implement industry best practices and innovative solutions to boost efficiency and effectiveness. This is a permanent full-time role based in our office, with the possibility of partial remote work, although some positions may necessitate visits to warehouses.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or a related discipline. Proficient in Excel and familiar with data analysis tools (e.g., SQL, PowerBI). Demonstrated experience in supply chain management, particularly in retail or e-commerce settings. Familiarity with relevant software and tools, including ERP systems and logistics management platforms. Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a knack for interpreting complex data and deriving actionable insights. A proactive mindset in identifying and resolving challenges. Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the capability to present data and recommendations clearly to stakeholders at all levels. Strong organizational and time-management skills, with the ability to juggle multiple tasks and priorities in a dynamic environment. Ability to excel in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment while effectively managing multiple priorities. Strong negotiation and relationship-building skills with stakeholders at all levels. Proficiency in English (both oral and written) is essential. Success Factors:Accurate stock forecasting and efficient warehouse inbound capacity planning.
