Hydrogen Business Development Specialist

About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated individual to join our product and business development team for hydrogen and climate-friendly ammonia. As a key member of our team, you will play a crucial role in supporting the energy transition and the transformation of our company towards climate-friendly solutions.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop innovative sales strategies for green hydrogen from advanced H2 projects
  • Identify and develop new business opportunities in the hydrogen energy market, including potential customers and strategic partners
  • Coordinate and participate in the creation of H2 business contracts and letters of intent
  • Support the development of new product features based on market feedback, together with the team
  • Question and optimize business cases for hydrogen with input from various teams
  • Advise potential customers and obtain feedback on our solutions
  • Conduct training and presentations on our products, both internally and externally
Requirements
  • Degree in business administration or economics, engineering, or industrial engineering, or comparable training
  • Several years of professional experience in the development of new products, sales strategies, and/or business development
  • Experience in the conceptual development of new business ideas and knowledge of negotiating and drafting customer contracts
  • Strong communication skills and ability to interact with customers across all levels
  • Entrepreneurial personality with the ability to combine different customer needs and market developments into new, value-adding business opportunities
  • Fluency in German and English, with other foreign languages an advantage
