Job Title: Social Educator / Care Professional / Special Needs Caregiver (m/f/d)

This position is offered on a part-time basis (30 hours per week) with a shift work schedule, excluding night shifts, and is open-ended.

The Heinrich-Theißen-Haus in Bottrop serves as a residence for individuals with intellectual disabilities, whether or not they require care. It is adjacent to a workshop dedicated to individuals with intellectual disabilities and a modern support facility for those with severe multiple disabilities.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Engage in a residential group setting for individuals with intellectual disabilities and specialized support needs.
  • Formulate and execute personalized support plans in collaboration with residents.
  • Maintain documentation of support activities, identify areas for improvement, and propose alternatives.
  • Assist residents in their daily routines with enthusiasm and dedication.
  • Work alongside a multidisciplinary team to foster professional collaboration.
Qualifications:
  • Completed training as a Special Needs Caregiver, Care Professional, Educator, Social Worker, or a related field.
  • Demonstrated responsibility and reliability.
  • Appreciation for diversity and a commitment to openness.
  • Ability to interact with residents in a respectful and empathetic manner.
  • Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends.
