Since our historic crewed flight of a fully electric multicopter in 2011, we have successfully conducted over 2,000 test flights globally.
Role Overview
Your team during this journey:
In your role as a Configuration Specialist within the Production department, you will collaborate closely with the Quality Team, the Production Team, and the Methods and Tools Team.
Your responsibilities during this journey:
As we aim for the entry-into-service of our Volocity aircraft, your primary responsibility will be to ensure the configuration of our aircraft is precise and current. You will play a crucial role in upholding our change control procedures and facilitating effective communication among various teams. Furthermore, you will assist in the documentation and release processes within our Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) system, and support both Quality and Production in configuration management. Your proficiency in configuration management, understanding of industry standards, and collaborative skills will make you an essential asset to our organization.
Required Qualifications
Evaluate your professional qualifications:
Minimum of 2 years of practical experience in configuration management A Bachelor's degree or relevant professional experience in production Background in the Aviation or Automotive sectors concerning configuration management Familiarity with production environments Experience using PLM tools (such as Siemens Teamcenter, PTC Windchill, etc.) Knowledge of ERP systems (like SAP, Microsoft, etc.) Familiarity with EASA or equivalent industry-standard audit processes in other sectors (automotive) Proficient in English Competent in MS Office SuiteAdditional Insights
