In this role, you will work closely with the Quality Assurance Team, the Manufacturing Team, and the Methods and Tools Team to ensure seamless operations.
Your Responsibilities:
As we aim for the successful entry-into-service of our Volocity aircraft, your key responsibility as the Configuration Specialist - Production will be to maintain the accuracy and currency of our aircraft configurations. You will play a vital role in upholding our change control procedures and facilitating effective communication among various teams. Furthermore, you will assist in the documentation and release processes within our Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) system, while also supporting Quality and Production with configuration oversight. Your proficiency in configuration management, familiarity with industry regulations, and collaborative spirit will make you an essential asset to our organization.
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 2 years of hands-on experience in configuration management
- A Bachelor's degree or equivalent professional experience in production
- Experience in the Aviation or Automotive sectors related to configuration management
- Understanding of production environments
- Familiarity with PLM tools such as Siemens Teamcenter or PTC Windchill
- Knowledge of ERP systems like SAP or Microsoft
- Experience with EASA or relevant industry-standard audit procedures in other sectors
- Proficient in English
- Strong command of MS Office Suite
