As a key player in our mission at Volocopter, you will work closely with the Quality Team, Production Team, and Methods and Tools Team to ensure the integrity of our aircraft configurations.
Your Responsibilities:
In your role as the Configuration Specialist - Production, you will be responsible for:
- Maintaining accurate and current configurations of our aircraft.
- Overseeing the change control process to ensure all modifications are documented and communicated effectively.
- Supporting the documentation and release processes within our Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) system.
- Assisting Quality and Production teams with configuration control tasks.
- Collaborating with various teams to enhance communication and efficiency.
Qualifications:
To succeed in this role, you should possess:
- A minimum of 2 years of practical experience in configuration management.
- A Bachelor's degree or equivalent professional experience in production.
- Experience in the Aviation or Automotive sectors related to configuration management.
- Familiarity with production environments and processes.
- Proficiency with PLM tools such as Siemens Teamcenter or PTC Windchill.
- Knowledge of ERP systems like SAP or Microsoft.
- Experience with EASA or similar industry-standard audit processes.
- Strong command of the English language.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.
