Since our pioneering crewed flight of a fully electric multicopter in 2011, we have successfully conducted over 2,000 test flights globally.
Role Overview
Your Collaborators:
In your role, you will engage closely with the Quality Team, Production Team, and the Methods and Tools Team.
Your Objectives:
As we aim for the operational launch of our Volocity aircraft, your responsibilities as a Configuration Specialist in Production will include ensuring the precision and currency of our aircraft configurations. You will play a crucial role in upholding our change control protocols and facilitating effective communication among various teams. Furthermore, you will assist in the documentation and release processes within our Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) system, while also supporting Quality and Production in configuration oversight. Your proficiency in configuration management, familiarity with industry standards, and collaborative spirit will be vital to our success.
Required Qualifications
Assess your professional qualifications:
- Minimum of 2 years of practical experience in configuration management
- A Bachelor's degree or equivalent relevant experience in production
- Background in Aviation or Automotive sectors with a focus on configuration management
- Understanding of production environments
- Familiarity with PLM tools such as Siemens Teamcenter or PTC Windchill
- Knowledge of ERP systems like SAP or Microsoft
- Experience with EASA or similar industry-standard audit processes
- Proficient in English
- Competent in MS Office Suite
