Role Overview

Your team for this mission:

In your role as a Configuration Specialist - Production, you will collaborate closely with the Quality Team, the Production Team, and the Methods and Tools Team.

Your objectives for this mission:

As we aim for the entry-into-service of our Volocity aircraft, your primary responsibility will be to ensure the accuracy and currency of the configuration for our diverse aircraft models. You will play a crucial role in upholding our change control procedures and facilitating effective communication among various teams. Furthermore, you will assist in the documentation and release processes within our Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) system, and support both Quality and Production teams with configuration oversight. Your proficiency in configuration management, familiarity with industry standards, and collaborative spirit will make you an indispensable asset to our organization.

Required Qualifications

Assess your professional expertise:

  • Minimum of 2 years of practical experience in configuration management
  • A Bachelor's degree or relevant experience in production
  • Background in the Aviation or Automotive sectors related to configuration management
  • Understanding and experience in a production setting
  • Familiarity with PLM tools (e.g., Siemens Teamcenter, PTC Windchill)
  • Knowledge of ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Microsoft)
  • Experience with EASA or equivalent industry-standard audit processes in other sectors (e.g., automotive)
  • Proficient in English
  • Competent in MS Office Suite
