We are looking for a future team member to fill the role of Senior VP, Fund/Client Accounting Manager - Group Manager Alternatives Operations within our Real Estate Fund Accounting division. This position offers a hybrid work environment.

In this position, you will have a significant impact in the following areas:

Leading teams dedicated to delivering administrative services to real estate clients. Overseeing processes and resource allocation to ensure quality and timely reporting for clients during each measurement cycle. Cultivating relationships with clients and various stakeholders. Engaging with clients on intricate issues. Assessing German investment laws and regulations to understand their implications on BNY Mellon’s accounting practices. Formulating strategies and guiding teams in the application of company policies. Addressing complex issues escalated by team members. Recruiting, guiding, motivating, and developing staff. Identifying opportunities for process improvement and enhanced service delivery.

To excel in this role, we are seeking candidates with the following qualifications:

Extensive experience in alternatives operations. Proven track record of operational excellence. Over years of experience in team management, ideally within the real estate sector. Demonstrated management capabilities in a global organization, overseeing multiple teams across various clients. In-depth knowledge of real estate accounting practices. Exceptional communication skills. Ability to lead change and manage complex operational enhancements. A bachelor's degree in accounting or an equivalent combination of education and experience is essential. Project management experience is advantageous. Familiarity with Yardi accounting platforms is a plus.
