Position Overview:

The Senior Vice President will be an integral part of our Research and Advisory team at StepStone. This role encompasses evaluating fund managers, performing financial analyses, developing investment rationales, and drafting Fund Summaries and Investment Memorandums. The position also involves engaging with clients, managing portfolios, and supporting client inquiries and proposals.

Key Responsibilities:

Research:

  • Evaluate marketing materials from fund managers
  • Analyze financial data
  • Formulate investment arguments
  • Draft Fund Summaries and Investment Memorandums
  • Conduct data analysis and hypothesis testing

Advisory:

  • Foster client relationships
  • Create and present portfolio allocation models
  • Assist in developing investment guidelines
  • Monitor client portfolios and provide performance updates
  • Support Sales and Client Support teams with Requests for Proposals

Qualifications:

  • At least 5 years of relevant experience
  • Fluency in German
  • Demonstrated leadership potential
  • High proficiency in Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, and Excel
  • Ability to represent the firm with credibility
  • Experience in valuation and investment analysis
