BNY Mellon, a global leader in asset management and banking, is seeking a highly skilled Senior Vice President, Fund/Client Accounting Manager to join our Real Estate Fund Accounting team in Frankfurt. This is a hybrid role that offers the perfect blend of challenge and opportunity for growth.
About the Role
We are looking for a seasoned professional with a strong background in alternatives operations to lead our team in providing exceptional administration services to real estate clients. As a Senior Vice President, Fund/Client Accounting Manager, you will be responsible for:
- Directing teams that provide administration services to real estate clients.
- Developing and implementing processes to ensure timely and accurate reporting to clients.
- Managing relationships with clients and stakeholders.
- Communicating complex issues to clients.
- Evaluating German investment law and regulations to determine their impact on BNY Mellon's accounting practices.
- Developing strategies for implementing company policies and providing guidance to teams.
- Resolving complex issues escalated from team members.
- Recruiting, directing, motivating, and developing staff.
- Identifying opportunities for process improvements and service delivery enhancements.
Requirements
To succeed in this role, you will need:
- Deep experience in alternatives operations.
- A track record of operational excellence.
- At least 5 years of experience managing teams, preferably in real estate.
- Proven management ability in a global organization, managing multiple teams across multiple clients.
- Excellent knowledge of real estate accounting.
- Strong communication skills.
- Ability to lead change and manage complex operational process enhancements.
- Bachelor's degree in accounting or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Project management experience is an advantage.
- Experience with Yardi accounting platforms is an advantage.
