Join Fresenius Medical Care's innovative Digital Services and Solutions Group as a Digital Product Owner (m/f/d). In this pivotal role, you will take charge of the digital product, shaping its user journeys and overall experience. Your collaboration with potential users and clients will be essential in understanding their needs and translating them into actionable product specifications.

Your Responsibilities

  • Work closely with Product Management and UI/UX teams to convert market insights and feature requirements into practical plans for agile development teams.
  • Establish clear technical goals and define the scope of solutions in partnership with software development teams.
  • Manage the prioritization of the product backlog while overseeing reporting, control, and documentation of requirements (both functional and non-functional). Supervise all phases of the product development lifecycle for both medical and non-medical features.
  • Lead a forward-thinking digitalization strategy that aligns with other development initiatives within the organization.
  • Coordinate cross-functional product teams and manage priorities effectively.
  • Remain actively involved at every stage of the process, tracking and assessing product progress to ensure we meet and exceed quality and performance standards.
  • Contribute to the formulation of a robust market positioning strategy for our offerings.

Your Qualifications

  • A degree in Industrial Engineering, Business Administration, (Business) Computer Science, Data Science, or related fields.
  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in product management, program management, or as a product owner.
  • A solid understanding of requirements engineering and agile software development methodologies (SCRUM).
  • Proven success in delivering digital solutions that effectively address user-centric challenges.
  • Experience in clinical or hospital environments, or in digital health and innovation sectors, is advantageous.
  • Possession of a Product Owner Certification is a plus.
  • Self-motivated and enthusiastic, with a strong desire to learn and drive positive outcomes.
  • Fluency in English is essential; proficiency in German is a plus.
