About the Role:
Ryanair is seeking a dedicated Payroll Operations Expert to support our extensive payroll processes across Europe.
The ideal candidate will be part of our German payroll division, where diligence, proactivity, and enthusiasm are essential qualities. This role presents a unique opportunity for a driven individual to collaborate with a seasoned payroll team, contributing to both in-house and outsourced payroll operations. The position involves managing a complex monthly payroll for our employees and crew, demanding meticulous attention to detail.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee the complete payroll cycle for multiple EMEA regions.
- Facilitate system integrations between HR and global payroll platforms, addressing any discrepancies.
- Adjust payroll records in response to salary modifications within the organization.
- Verify the accuracy of information for new hires, including tax and banking details.
- Prepare monthly payroll-related financial entries.
- Assist with ongoing expansion initiatives and ad-hoc reporting as required.
- Test new configurations, system improvements, and updates impacting Global Payroll.
- Compile and process spreadsheets for variable payments and deductions.
- Prepare and upload bulk spreadsheets to the payroll system.
- Support internal controls and procedures, including documentation and testing.
- Manage third-party payment preparations and participate in various payroll projects as assigned.
Qualifications:
- A minimum of 2 years of payroll experience.
- Ability to collaborate effectively within a team environment.
- Experience with SAP and Employee Central Payroll is advantageous.
- Proficient computer skills, particularly in advanced Excel.
- Familiarity with German payroll regulations.
- A methodical and efficient work approach, with a strong emphasis on accuracy and detail.
- Capability to meet tight deadlines, along with strong interpersonal skills and professionalism.
- Adaptability to changing work demands and flexibility to work outside standard hours when necessary.
Ideal Candidate:
The successful applicant will have experience in German withholding and social insurance calculations, along with excellent analytical capabilities. A high degree of initiative, strong interpersonal skills, and effective communication abilities are essential.
