About the Role

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Payroll Operations Assistant to join our team at Trade Republic. As a key member of our People Department, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our payroll processes.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist in the accurate and timely processing of payroll data, including data entry and verification.
  • Support the monitoring of payroll-related tickets and respond to generic requests in a timely and professional manner.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date employee payroll files, ensuring compliance with relevant regulations.
  • Receive and distribute payroll-related documents in a secure and confidential manner.
  • Process uploads of employees' payslips and tax forms, and other payroll-related documents in our HR system.
  • Support the processing of requests from former employees, ensuring a seamless transition.
  • Perform other ad-hoc payroll-related tasks as required.

Requirements

  • Currently studying Finance, Accounting, or a related field.
  • Strong interest in payroll and people operations.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other relevant software.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and analysis.
  • Fluency in English and German.
