Payroll Operations Manager

In this pivotal role, you will serve as a key resource for employees, offering expert support and direction within your designated area. You will function as the liaison between payroll processing and the Human Resources department, ensuring the accurate and timely execution of payroll for a diverse workforce, including both domestic and international employees.
Your responsibilities will encompass managing payroll inquiries, contributing to payroll-related projects, and collaborating on initiatives aimed at enhancing payroll efficiency. Furthermore, you will be the primary point of contact for matters concerning employee benefits, including pension plans, health insurance, and social security.
Required Qualifications:
- A completed degree in Communication, Economics, or Social Sciences, or a related field
- Proven experience in payroll management or preparatory payroll functions
- Strong understanding of labor laws, tax regulations, and payroll compliance
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel; familiarity with Workday is a plus
- Fluent in both German and English
- Excellent organizational abilities and a proactive approach to driving improvements
- Capability to take initiative and work autonomously
