Payroll Operations Specialist

Position Overview:
Ryanair is seeking a skilled Payroll Operations Specialist to become a vital part of our esteemed payroll team within Europe's largest airline group.
The ideal candidate will be integrated into our German payroll division, where diligence, proactivity, and enthusiasm are integral to our operations. This role presents an exceptional opportunity for a driven and ambitious individual to collaborate with a highly proficient payroll team, assisting in the management and execution of both in-house and outsourced payroll processes. This position involves a dynamic and intricate monthly payroll for our employees and crew, necessitating meticulous attention to detail.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee the complete payroll cycle for multiple EMEA nations.
- Facilitate system integrations between HR and global payroll platforms, addressing any discrepancies.
- Adjust payroll records in accordance with salary modifications for internal movements.
- Verify the accuracy of information for new hires, including tax and banking details.
- Prepare monthly payroll-related financial entries.
- Contribute to ongoing expansion initiatives and generate ad-hoc reports as required.
- Test new configurations, system upgrades, and integrations impacting Global Payroll.
- Compile and process spreadsheets for variable compensation and deductions.
- Prepare and bulk upload spreadsheets into the payroll system.
- Assist with internal controls and procedures, including documentation and testing.
- Manage third-party payment preparations and engage in various payroll projects as assigned.
Qualifications:
- A minimum of 2 years of payroll experience.
- Ability to collaborate effectively within a team environment.
- Experience with SAP and Employee Central Payroll is highly advantageous.
- Proficient computer skills, particularly in advanced Excel.
- Experience with German payroll regulations.
- A methodical and efficient work ethic, with a strong emphasis on accuracy and detail.
- Capability to meet tight deadlines, coupled with strong interpersonal skills and professionalism.
- Adaptability to changing work demands and flexibility to work outside standard hours when necessary.
Ideal Candidate Profile:
The successful candidate will possess experience in executing German withholding and social insurance calculations. Exceptional analytical abilities are essential, along with a demonstrated capacity for initiative, strong interpersonal skills, and excellent communication capabilities.
