Senior Cost and Commercial Manager

Mace Consultancy Pharmaceutical and Life Sciences Sector is seeking a Senior Cost and Commercial Manager to join our team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for providing full cycle cost management services for ongoing commissions throughout the country.
Key Responsibilities- Provide cost planning, budgeting, and estimating services for projects
- Manage risk and ensure compliance with contractual frameworks
- Advise on contract administration and value engineering
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders
- Contribute to business development and growth initiatives
- Previous experience in a cost consultancy practice in a similar role
- Experience working with Pharmaceutical and Life Science clients
- JCT form of contract experience essential with some knowledge of NEC
- Cost planning, budgeting, and estimating experience
- Previous experience of managing people and risk management
- Knowledge of contract law and contractual frameworks relating to construction
- Sound knowledge and ability to undertake and advise on Contract Administration
- Knowledge of value engineering and life cycle costing
- Strong understanding of industry best practice
- Understanding of hot topic issues such as Sustainability, Social Value, Carbon Reduction impacting Public Sector
- Capex V Opex Cost Analysis/ advice
- A degree in quantity surveying/cost management or equivalent
