Senior Cost and Commercial Manager

Mace Consultancy is seeking a highly skilled Senior Cost and Commercial Manager to join our Pharmaceutical and Life Sciences Sector team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for providing full-cycle cost management services for ongoing commissions throughout Germany.
Key Responsibilities- Provide cost planning, budgeting, and estimating services for pharmaceutical and life sciences projects.
- Manage people and risk management for projects, ensuring timely and within-budget delivery.
- Advise on contract administration, value engineering, and life cycle costing.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with key senior stakeholders, including clients and project teams.
- Stay up-to-date with industry best practices, including sustainability, social value, and carbon reduction.
- Previous experience in a cost consultancy practice, with a focus on pharmaceutical and life sciences projects.
- JCT form of contract experience, with knowledge of NEC.
- Cost planning, budgeting, and estimating experience, with a strong understanding of industry best practices.
- Previous experience managing people and risk management, with a focus on timely and within-budget delivery.
- Knowledge of contract law and contractual frameworks relating to construction.
- Sound knowledge and ability to undertake and advise on Contract Administration.
- Knowledge of value engineering and life cycle costing.
- Strong understanding of industry best practice, including sustainability, social value, and carbon reduction.
