The Project

We are seeking a Senior Cost and Commercial Manager to join our German region team. As a key member of our team, you will provide full-cycle cost management services for ongoing commissions throughout the country. Our agile working policy allows for flexible working arrangements, with the opportunity to work from home and visit client offices/projects as needed.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide cost planning, budgeting, and estimating services for pharmaceutical and life sciences projects
  • Manage risk and ensure compliance with contractual frameworks
  • Develop and implement cost-saving strategies through value engineering and life cycle costing
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver projects on time and within budget
  • Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including clients and project team members

Requirements

  • Previous experience in a cost consultancy practice, with a strong understanding of pharmaceutical and life sciences projects
  • Experience with JCT forms of contract and knowledge of NEC
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to communicate complex ideas effectively
  • Fluent in German (desirable but not essential)
