About the role
Dive is looking for a strong C2C Marketing lead, who is dynamic, creative, and analytical. The individual has a track record of creating strong communities from scratch, can design and implement growth loops/activities, demonstrates a deep understanding of content marketing and product marketing, and ideally has some experience or knowledge of the audio industry. This person will be dedicated to growing our businesses in the DACH region and comes with a minimum of 5 years’ relevant experience living or working in the region.
What would your responsibilities be?
We need a lean, digitally fluent, content-creating marketer with a strategic vision to help us take our growth path to the next level in the DACH market.
- You will set up a branding strategy that speaks to people in the local market
- You will conceive, launch, and lead a series of content campaigns that span a variety of online channels – Email, organic, social, podcasts, content syndication through KOLs, to name a few.
- You will also support our virtual events strategy and its ‘end to end’ execution in DACH
- You will build up and maintain the grassroots communities of Dive in DACH
- Support with Public / Media relation management
- Connect with influential media outlets and journalists to place stories about company news and other initiatives.
- Assist with event planning for top KOLs
- Strategize and help create content regularly (press releases, thought leadership columns, etc)
- The right candidate will have the ability to work cross-functionally with all teams in-region and in headquarters in Berlin, Germany, with the goal of translating a global strategy into highly effective local campaigns, exposure, and growth.

You are a jack of all (Marketing) trades We’re looking for a mix of professional branding and community management, with an understanding of social media, content marketing and PR.
- You have a hands-on attitude and are excited by autonomy
- You can work and thrive in a fast-paced, rapidly changing work environment
- You are driven by data and can effectively measure the performance of marketing activities
- You have strong project management skills, and the ability to think strategically and orchestrate many moving parts
- You must have full working knowledge and expertise of the community generation growth loops and retention flows
- Active and well-rounded presence in social media, with a command of each network and their best practices
- Ability to work collaboratively with multiple team members across departments (creative teams, leadership/exec team members, engineers, marketers, production)
- Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills
- Superb attention to detail, good judgement, and listening skills
- Awesome attitude and passion for Dive’s products and creativity
- Above all a growth mindset for self and Dive
We are looking for a freelancer effective immediate with prospects to join us full time as we grow in the coming months. Minimum engagement of 3 months.
