About the Role

We're seeking a skilled marketing professional to drive growth and development at Project A Ventures. As Strategic Marketing Director, you'll be responsible for overseeing all marketing activities, developing and implementing strategic marketing initiatives, and ensuring alignment with overall business objectives.

Our Marketing team consists of a group of data-driven experts who help our portfolio companies grow their user base. We cover all areas of programmatic paid media, customer engagement tactics, demand generation, marketing automation & MarTech, and Marketing Ops.

Your Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute comprehensive marketing strategies to drive brand growth, customer acquisition, and retention
  • Identify emerging marketing trends and technologies, including AI, to ensure we stay ahead of the curve
  • Provide expert marketing consultation to our portfolio companies, tailoring strategies to their unique business needs and market environments
  • Facilitate workshops, trainings, and ongoing support to ensure effective implementation of marketing initiatives
  • Lead, mentor, and inspire a high-performing marketing team, fostering a culture of creativity, collaboration, and excellence
  • Utilise analytics and data-driven insights to optimise strategies and drive continuous improvement
  • Prepare and present regular reports to the executive team, highlighting successes and areas for growth
Your Profile
  • Minimum of 10 years of marketing experience with at least 5 years in a senior leadership role
  • Proven experience in consulting and advising on marketing strategies for multiple businesses or clients
  • Strong understanding of digital marketing, brand development, and performance marketing
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to think strategically and creatively, with a data-driven approach to decision making
  • Demonstrated success in managing budgets, marketing operations, and driving growth
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced and dynamic environment
  • Fluency in German and English

Please note that we are looking for support in our Berlin office. Eligibility to work within the EU is required as well.
