**How you will leave your mark**:

- The Head of Business Development is responsible for leading all business development related, international projects as well as for a consolidation and evaluation of conceptual ideas in the company, e.g. new business segments or new go-to-market models and sales processes.
- Continuously draft concept papers on business development opportunities and transfer validated concepts into projects and milestones.
- The head of business development will work closely with markets, finance, IT, categories, supply chain, and marketing
- Generate market, sales and consumer insights in our core categories (writing instruments, leather, etc.) and adjacent industries to uncover business opportunities and future growth drivers.
- Research best-practices and conduct interviews with internal and external stakeholders to verify assumptions
- Excellent Project Management ensuring that business opportunities are aligned with Montblanc management and are delivered successfully to the markets

**How you will experience success with us**:

- University degree
- Advanced project management and analytical skills
- Proficient use of visualization and analysis software programs (e.g. MS Office Powerpoint, Excel, Thinkcell)
- English fluent
- Diplomacy, pro-activity and dynamism
- Strong communication skills
- Ability to work under pressure
