**Head of HR Business Partnering, DACH Region**

**Hamburg, Germany**

**Limited Contract 12-18 months**

We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced strategic HR leader to join us here at Imperial Brands. As the Head of HR Business Partnering, you will be an influential and pivotal member of the HR DACH Regions Leadership Teams. You will have responsibility for delivering the Imperial HR People Strategy and related strategic initiatives within the Region whilst also ensuring the operational delivery and implementation of our HR Operating Models. **Principle Accountabilities**
- Role modelling our HR Operating Model through building and maintaining excellent working relationships with Group HR teams, Centre of Expertise and local HR Operations teams which leading and influencing HR Business Partners, ensuring our stakeholders receive an enhanced people partnership and operational support.
- Driving a mind-set around engagement to improve business results by supporting People Leaders, through providing strong, solutioned focussed leadership on people related issues along with analysis of data and continuous action planning.
- Ensuring all global P&C processes are managed and communicated for effective execution and ensuring effective leadership and delivery and guidance of change programmes as required.
- Ensuring high quality succession planning, talent processes and local talent initiatives are in place to ensure local talents are identified & nurtured and to feed the Group Talent Pipeline.
- Drive our strategic agenda around Connections (Values), behaviours, DE&I.
- Strengthening capabilities by proactively identifying and addressing capability gaps and development needs and addressing with the L&D function through a strong and dynamic learning and leadership development offering. Provide strong support and guidance in performance management, driving an appropriate performance culture in DACH region.
- Being responsible for ensuring effective employee relations culture through regular and timely dialogue with Works Council.

**Skills and Experience Required**
- Extensive experience in a similar Strategic HR Business Partner role with a focus on change management - ideally within FMCG or large matrix organisation.
- Experience supporting Senior Stakeholders and leadership teams.
- Strong evidence of business acumen and broad cross-functional commercial understanding.
- Diversity of thinking along with strong influencing and negotiation skills and assertiveness.
- Solid knowledge in German Labour Law.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with fluency in both German and English.
